U.S.N. stockless anchor is also called Navy stockless anchor. This anchor is similar to Baldt stockless anchor. U.S.N. stockless anchor was invented in 1821 and inclines to be chunky, with comparatively broad and blunt flukes. It has flukes somewhat longer and of greater area. With the crown, tripping palms and flukes forged together, the Navy stockless Anchor features a heavy head that have commonly been used in fleet moorings.
The American navy stockless anchor has the same performance as the ordinary stockless anchor, but the anchor claw is longer.
